Certified Nutritional Counselor

A certified nutritional counselor is a professional who can analyze a client’s diet and create a diary program based on their specific needs and concerns using short and long-term strategies. A nutritional counselor may consider the client’s digestive issues, metabolic issues, immune system, and the client’s overall health.

Nutritional counseling is common with clients experiencing digestive issues, diabetes, obesity, pregnancy, and many other conditions.

Nutritional counselors work with these individuals to improve their overall health and wellness.

Training

For students to receive the designation of a Certified Nutritional Counselor (C.N.C), students must attend a training center that offers the program.
